The Story of the EETB at Zoku

posted in: News 0

Thursday evening 12 October, I will be on the rooftop venue of the Zoku Hotel and work space in Amsterdam.

As part of the launch activity for my new book, this session will be the story of how and why I got to the place where I wrote The Entrepreneur’s Emotional Toolbox.

This session will include war stories from my years of self-employment in the music, publishing and marketing industries and anything else that comes up in the conversation.

In between these stories, I will extract specific tools and ideas from the book and explain them so that everyone can try them out and better understand the intention behind the book and the tools.

This is the practical link between the book and the experience of working solo, as a freelancer, entrepreneur or running your own business. The last part of the session will be an extended Q&A so I can answer all and any questions

The venue, Zoku is a fantastic space in the heart of Amsterdam. Zoku, Japanese for family, tribe or clan, facilitates global living and working for the traveling professional. They are going as a new category in the hotel industry: a flexible home/office hybrid, also suitable for long stays, with the services of a hotel and the social buzz of a thriving neighbourhood. You can live, work, relax and socialize with like-minded people – while getting wired into the city.

So yes, young entrepreneurs who live in the residential hotel also have flex work space upstairs, and its open to non-residents as well. Come along and experience the location and let’s talk about self-employment and how to do it in a way that’s healthier and happier for you!
