The Upright Man Goes Olde Skool

David Chislett’s alter ego, The Upright Man takes to the stage with old friends Matthew Van Der Want and Paul flynn on Friday 16th April.

The Upright Man is an accoustic duo music project consisting of David Chislett and Marc Pienaar. The pair play covers of all their old favourites ranging from 70’s punk anthems to nineties indie pop.  Not exactly taking themselves seriously, they have hooked up this show with some serious heavy hitters for the Olde Skool night.

Matthew van der Want is well known for his searing emotional songs and ironic, self-deprecating delivery. These days he doesn’t gig much, so this show is a special, rare treat. The line-up is completed by ex-Sugardrive frontman, Paul E Flynn. Paul now has a solo album to his credit and will be treating the audience to some different renditions of his solo material and a couple of covers.

The show kicks off at 8pm and promises to be a great opportunity to see some old hands back in action in the two thousand and tweens.
