Dinosaur Daze at Espresso Jazz:

Challenging the ice age of winter 2010 is Dinosaur Daze at Espresso Jazz. Taking place on Friday 25 June this gig features regular old hands The Upright Man with No Friends Of Harry front man Rob McLennan and Lithium front man, Dave Owens all on one bill.

It’s a long cold winter, but Friday 25 June will bring the warm and fuzzy feelings of the past back to warm the cockles of your heart. The Upright Man is pleased to present a very special show with two legends of SA rock from two separate generations. Rob McLennan will treat you to a range of No Friends Of Harry favourites on acoustic guitar as well as songs from his new band Doris and some choice covers. Lithium’s ex-front man Dave Owens on the other hand is about to release his debut solo album and will be treating our ears to a selection of new material. No doubt some old favourites will creep in as well.

The Gluhwein worked well during May, so that treat will be repeated: a steaming warm cup of mulled wine at the door FREE for everyone.

Espresso Jazz is Joburg’s premier boutique music venue and offers an intimate musical experience combined with great food and location.
